Meet the Rogues

chris portrait.jpg

Chris Bennet

Chris has been shouting history facts at people longer than most would care to remember. His first words were an anecdote about which king shat himself to death after eating too many eels. He is the subject of many rave reviews, which is why he's now the top hit when you Google the phrase "pleasantly bumptious".

He also has a genealogy business so he can personalise the history facts he shouts at people.

Chris has never bashed a bishop but did steal a slice of cheesecake from one.

Dan Lewis

Dan is a librarian by day and history lover by night. Born in Hampshire, Dan now prefers Northumbrian climes, and spends much of their free time painting local landscapes (@DanDrawsStuffGallery). They've just about given up on ever using their maths degree, which focused on squishy geometry, and imaginary hairy balls.

A Rogue's Gallery Present ‘Bashing the Bishops’ a hilarious ‘Horrible histories’/ Monty Python /Blackadder inspired irreverent comedic series exploring some of the darkest moments of British History, kicking off with season one, the bloody story of the Prince Bishops of Durham.

History is not dull! A riot of medieval ecclesiastical chicanery and comedic exposition and Saint gets a head and how to get a free cow?
